Racing thoughts. Sharp tension. A headache building behind the eyes. Or that heavy, foggy feeling where you can't quite get yourself moving.
The VedaFusion Head Spa gives your attention somewhere else to go — through Shirodhara, scalp care, singing bowls, marma-inspired touch, hands, feet and guided sensory awareness.
Fully clothed • 60, 90 & 120 minute experiences
Choose Your Head Spa
Sometimes the mind is moving too fast. Sometimes everything feels tight, sharp or intensely focused. And sometimes you're not overthinking at all — you just feel heavy, foggy or checked out.
Thoughts jump from one thing to the next. You feel tired but wired, unfocused, overstimulated or unable to settle into one place for long.
Your jaw is tight. Your brow is working. Your head or temples feel tense. You may be carrying a headache or migraine while your mind is still trying to solve, manage and push through.
Instead of racing, your mind feels dull, tired or foggy. Focus takes effort. You want to feel clearer and more present without forcing yourself to “snap out of it.”
People often book because they want to relax. Afterward, some describe changes they weren't expecting — a quieter mind, less head or jaw tension, feeling clearer, or simply realizing how much they had been holding before the session began.
We've also had clients tell us that stress-related sensations such as eye twitching or headache pressure felt different after the ritual.
One client experiencing a migraine told us she felt it fade during the slow figure-eight movement of the Shirodhara stream.
These are individual client experiences, not promised outcomes. Head Spa is a relaxation and wellness service and is not a treatment or cure for migraine, TMJ disorders, eye conditions or other medical conditions.
That's the point.
Instead of asking you to stop thinking, the ritual gives your attention something tangible to notice: warm liquid moving across the forehead, the vibration of a singing bowl, pressure at a point, the weight of your body against the table, the sensation of hands and feet.
Attention moves between sound, touch, movement, stillness, part and whole.
You can follow it when you want to. Wander when you need to. Then come back to the next sensation.
No performance. No empty-mind requirement. No need to be “good” at relaxing.
“Leave feeling meditated — without needing to know how to meditate.”
Sound, touch, temperature, movement and silence give your awareness somewhere tangible to rest — without asking you to create calm from inside the very mind that feels busy, sharp or foggy.
A gentle, continuous stream moves across the forehead in slow, intentional patterns.
Instead of trying to stop your thoughts, you can notice the stream — where it is, where it moves and how the sensation changes.
Our standard botanical Shirodhara uses a warm tri-doshic Ayurvedic infusion. Nourishing Brahmi scalp oiling follows, while singing bowls, hands, feet and marma-inspired touch continue the sensory progression.
One client arrived with a migraine and later told us she could feel it disappearing while the Shirodhara stream moved in the figure-eight pattern.
We don't promise that response — but it beautifully captures why we pay attention to what each person notices during the experience.
VedaFusion uses marma-inspired touch, not acupuncture, and Head Spa is not offered as migraine treatment.
Still, research on other point-based systems is interesting. In one small randomized trial of 28 people with chronic headache, acupressure using trigger and acupressure points was associated with lower pain scores after one month compared with muscle-relaxant medication, with the difference still present at six months.
That does not prove that marma-inspired Head Spa produces the same effect. We include it as context — not as a claim for this service.

The McKinney Head Spa is offered as our traditional Leave-In Ritual.
A small amount of nourishing Ayurvedic-inspired oil remains in your hair and scalp after the experience.
Your hair will not be drenched, but we wouldn't plan freshly styled hair, important meetings or a full day of errands immediately afterward.
Many guests choose to leave the oils in for a few hours or overnight before washing at home.
Keeping the washing ritual separate also means your appointment time stays focused on Shirodhara, scalp care, sound, touch, sensory awareness and integration.
Our Sensory Relaxation Practitioner, Marcel, brings a grounded, centered and steady presence to the VedaFusion Head Spa experience.
His quiet approach is especially suited to the person whose thoughts keep moving, whose mind stays sharp and “on,” or who arrives feeling heavy, foggy and disconnected from the body.
He gives your attention somewhere to rest — without asking you to try harder, quiet your mind, or be “good” at relaxing.
Meet MarcelSome clients tell us their head tension or headache feels different after a session, and one client reported feeling her migraine disappear during Shirodhara.
Those are individual experiences, not a guaranteed result. VedaFusion Head Spa is a relaxation and wellness experience, not migraine treatment or a substitute for medical care.
The ritual includes gentle head, face and neck-focused touch, and many clients arrive carrying tension through the jaw and temples.
We can support relaxation around those areas, but we do not diagnose or treat TMJ disorders.
